CrowdHive returns & fees
A 10–17% net target, interest every month, €100 to start and no investor fees. Here is what those numbers mean in euros, and what decides where you land in the range.

- Target return
- 10–17% a year, net
- Interest payments
- Monthly
- Minimum
- €100 per project
- Investor fees
- None (€0)
What 10–17% looks like in euros
Monthly interest on a €1,000 portfolio at three points of the target range, before tax and assuming every loan pays as planned:
| Target rate | Per month | Per year |
|---|---|---|
| 10% p.a. | €8.33 | €100.00 |
| 13.5% p.a. | €11.25 | €135.00 |
| 17% p.a. | €14.17 | €170.00 |
Simple interest on a constant €1,000; reinvesting monthly payouts compounds the return slightly higher.
What decides your return
Risk rating
Each loan carries a risk rating. Riskier borrowers pay more interest to compensate investors — that is where the upper end of the range comes from.
Term
Longer loans generally pay more, but your money is tied up for longer and there is more time for a business's situation to change.
Defaults
The target is what a loan pays if it is repaid in full. If one of ten €100 loans at 14% defaults with nothing recovered, a €1,000 portfolio earns about €126 in interest on the other nine but loses €100 of capital — a net result near 2.6% for the year instead of 14%. That is why diversification matters more than chasing the highest rate.
"Net" means after platform fees, not after tax. Because CrowdHive charges investors no fees, the net target is what the loan pays you. Interest is usually taxable where you live — see our P2P tax basics for Europe.

FAQ
CrowdHive targets 10–17% a year net. Where a loan sits in that range depends on its risk rating and term: lower-risk, shorter loans pay less; higher-risk or longer loans pay more. Targets are not guaranteed.
Monthly. Interest from each loan is paid out every month; the principal comes back when the borrower repays the loan.
CrowdHive says it charges investors no fees — no sign-up, account, investment or withdrawal fee is listed in its terms. Always check the current terms before investing.
Usually yes. "Net" means after platform fees, not after tax. Interest is typically taxable in your country of residence; rules differ between countries, so check with a local tax adviser.
